St. Moritz, through the Eyes of a Singapore Gentleman
As a businessman based in Singapore, my life rarely slows down. But this March, after attending the Geneva Motor Show, I decided to extend my stay and experience something far from boardrooms and neon lights. A colleague in Zurich recommended SwissChauffeur for a private transfer to St. Moritz — and that, as they say, was the beginning of something extraordinary.
My chauffeur, Lukas, met me at Zürich Flughafen in a Mercedes-Benz S-Class Long 2024, gleaming like a piece of black onyx. The heated leather seats, ambient lighting, and soft-spoken driver set the tone. Lukas wasn’t just a driver. He became my guide, translator, and – dare I say – my travel companion.
St. Moritz was a revelation. SwissChauffeur arranged not only the transfer but also helped me secure a suite at Badrutt’s Palace. From champagne views at Piz Nair to a husky sled ride at Lake Staz, I experienced winter luxury like never before. Every detail was seamless — a hallmark of true Swiss hospitality.
Looking back, what impressed me most wasn’t just the punctuality or the pristine condition of the car — it was the discretion, the calm presence, the feeling of being truly looked after. In a world rushing forward, SwissChauffeur reminded me how exquisite it is to pause, to enjoy, and to travel well.
Best Regards,
